The YouTube Channel Posts API lists the community posts of a YouTube channel from its Posts tab. Posts can include the full text with resolved links, exact like counts, polls, quizzes with correct answers, image, video, and playlist attachments, and the original post for reposts. Posts use the same fields as the YouTube Post API, except publish_date and is_comments_disabled. Use next_page_token to paginate through the channel's post history.

API Parameters

Search Query

    Identifies the YouTube channel to query. Accepts a channel ID or an '@' handle from YouTube URLs. For channel IDs, use the format: https://www.youtube.com/channel/CHANNEL_ID. For '@' handles, use: https://www.youtube.com/@HANDLE. Examples: UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA for channel IDs. @MrBeast for '@' handles.

    The default parameter US defines the country of the search. Check the full list of supported YouTube gl countries.

    The default parameter en defines the interface language of the search. Check the full list of supported YouTube hl languages.

Pagination

    Description

    A token used to retrieve the next page of posts. The first request returns pagination.next_page_token. Pass it back to continue from where the previous page ended. Each following response includes a new token until no posts remain. It must be sent with the same channel_id.

    Parameter defines the engine that will be used to retrieve real-time data. To retrieve YouTube channel community posts, it must be set to youtube_channel_posts.

Pass the previous response's pagination.next_page_token to fetch the next page. Paginated responses return posts and a new token until the history is exhausted.
