The Skyscanner Hotels API returns the properties Skyscanner lists for a place or a hotel and dates. Properties come with their stars, rating, address, photos and price per night and in total, with and without taxes. Each also carries every partner's rate with its room, meals, payment terms and booking link. Properties come in Skyscanner's recommended order, as on its first page of results. Prices are in US dollars and cover every room searched.

A property's prices are those of the rate Skyscanner lists as its cheapest by the price it displays, which includes fees and leaves taxes out. One of the property's own rates can therefore cost less with all taxes.

A search by q runs on the first place Skyscanner suggests for the name, and search_information.destination names the place searched. To search one exact place, pass its entity_id instead. When the place is a hotel, that hotel comes first, followed by the properties around it, and it comes without prices when it has no rate for the dates.

    Parameter defines the place or hotel to search, such as London or Hilton London Metropole, up to 256 characters, fewer in non-Latin scripts. English names work best, for example Athens rather than Αθήνα. The search runs on the first place Skyscanner suggests for it. It cannot contain /, %, \ or control characters such as line breaks. It is required unless entity_id is set.

    Parameter defines the Skyscanner id of the place or hotel to search, such as 27544008 for London. A property's entity_id from a response searches around that property, which comes first, without prices when it has no rate for the dates. It cannot be used with q.
